Performance Labs
Evidence-informed Executive Education for Human Performance.
SALUZ Performance Labs are interactive learning experiences designed to help professionals understand the biological foundations of performance and translate science into practical decisions.
The method
Understand
Understand the science behind Human Performance.
Sessions open with the evidence itself: what research across neuroscience, sleep science, nutrition, exercise physiology and psychology actually shows, and where the limits of that evidence lie.
Experience
Explore how biology influences real professional situations.
Participants work through the conditions they recognise — sustained cognitive load, compressed schedules, travel, high-stakes decisions — and examine how the biological system behaves in them.
Apply
Turn insight into practical decisions and sustainable behaviours.
The final movement is deliberately unglamorous: specific, defensible decisions that hold up inside a real working week rather than resolutions that dissolve by Wednesday.
A distinction that matters
Designed learning, not guest lectures.
A Performance Lab is designed with your team before it is delivered. A lecture transfers information; a Lab is structured so that understanding is tested against the conditions participants actually work in.
The difference is measurable in what leaves the room: written decisions and shared language, rather than notes.
Scientific territories
Four interconnected territories inform every Lab. They are not four products, nor four separate workshops. They converge.
Brain
Attention · Learning · Cognitive Performance
Energy
Nutrition · Metabolism · Microbiome
Sleep
Recovery · Cognitive Function · Resilience
Movement
Brain Health · Energy · Physical Capacity
Formats
Within leadership programmes
A Performance Lab integrated into an existing leadership or executive development curriculum, aligned to its language and objectives.
For executive teams
A focused session for a leadership team operating under sustained demand, calibrated to how that team actually works.
As a programme series
A sequence across the four scientific territories, allowing understanding to accumulate rather than arrive in a single sitting.
Practicalities
How a Lab runs.
- Duration
- From 120 minutes to a full day per Lab. A series typically runs over four to twelve weeks.
- Group size
- From 15 to 50 participants, seated close for real working sessions.
- Delivery
- In person at your site or venue. Online and hybrid available for distributed teams.
- Languages
- English and Spanish.
- Design
- A short design workshop with your team before delivery, so the Lab uses your programme's language and cases.
- Included
- Faculty delivery, participant materials, and a written summary of the decisions taken in the room.
Outcomes
What participants leave with.
- A working understanding of how attention, energy, sleep and movement shape professional judgement.
- The ability to tell strong evidence from the noise that surrounds this subject.
- Two or three specific decisions, written down, that fit their actual working week.
- Shared language a leadership team can keep using after the session ends.
Every Lab is designed against the specific conditions of the organization it is built for.
